The Oakville Suzuki Association would like to thank The Oakville Community Foundation for providing a $1,700 bursary fund in 2010 for students who are unable to participate in our Suzuki Performing Arts Camp or regular season group classes due to their financial circumstances. 

In 2009-2010 an OCF grant and Oakville Suzuki internal fundraising enabled 25 students to participate in the Summer Camp and regular season programs.

Their families submitted Bursary Program application forms and were approved by the OSA Executive.  Along with financial need, the students had to demonstrate a passion for music and commitment to develop their skills.
